Cooking Sequence

    Green Chile Cheese Sliders

    Ingredients

    1 1/2 lb ground beef chuck
    1 (4-oz) can diced green chiles (undrained)
    1 tablespoon green pepper sauce
    1 packet fajita (or taco) seasoning mix (about 1 oz)
    1 avocado
    12 Bakery dinner rolls (sliced for buns)
    1/2 cup spreadable cheese with cheddar/jalapeño

    Steps

    1. Combine ground beef, chiles, pepper sauce, and seasoning mix until blended; shape into 12 patties about 1/2-inch thick (wash hands).
    2. Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Add patties; cook 3–4 minutes on each side until 160°F (or until desired doneness). Slice avocado thinly.
    3. Place in each bun: beef patty, avocado, and 2 teaspoons cheese spread. Serve.

    Bistro Turkey Sliders

    Ingredients

    1 Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
    1/2 cup dried sweetened cranberries, coarsely chopped
    2 tablespoons canola oil
    3 frozen seasoned turkey burgers
    3 tablespoons Vidalia onion dressing, divided
    3 slices Muenster cheese (3 oz)
    1/4 cup Dijon mustard, divided
    12 Bakery dinner rolls (sliced for buns)

    Steps

    1. Cut apple into quarters and remove core; slice thinly. Chop cranberries.
    2. Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Place oil in pan, then add burgers; cook 4–5 minutes on each side and until 165°F. Combine cranberries and dressing.
    3. Top each burger with even amounts apple slices, 2 tablespoons cranberry mixture, and cheese; cook 1 more minute to melt cheese. Remove burgers from pan; cut into 4 pieces.
    4. Spread mustard on inside of buns; add burgers. Serve.

    Ultimate Hot Dog Sliders

    Ingredients

    3/4 cup seasoned chili starter beans, drained
    6 angus beef bun-length hot dogs
    2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
    12 Bakery dinner rolls (sliced for buns)
    1/4 cup Vidalia onion dressing
    1/4 cup fresh prediced green onions
    1/4 cup prepared cheese spread

    Steps

    1. Mash beans with fork until spreadable. Butterfly hot dogs by cutting almost in half lengthwise. Preheat large, nonstick sauté pan on medium-high 2–3 minutes.
    2. Place hot dogs in pan; cook 3–4 minutes on each side or until thoroughly heated. Cut across each hot dog to make 2 halves. Microwave beans on HIGH for 1–2 minutes or until hot.
    3. Spread 1/2 teaspoon mustard on bottom half of each bun, then add a hot dog half. Top each with 1 tablespoon beans, 1 teaspoon onion dressing, and 1 teaspoon green onions. Spread 1 teaspoon cheese spread on top halves of buns; assemble sliders. Serve.
