White Mountain Bread Gourmet Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
8 slices Bakery White Mountain Bread
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, divided
4 oz thin sliced smoked ham
4 oz sliced mozzarella cheese
4 oz sliced Havarti cheese
1 cup fresh baby spinach

Steps

  1. Spread 1 tablespoon butter on 1 side of each bread slice; place bread butter-side down on a flat surface. Spread Dijon on 4 slices of bread; top evenly with ham and mozzarella.
  2. Place Havarti and spinach evenly on remaining 4 bread slices; bring ham and spinach sides together, butter-side out.
  3. Preheat large, nonstick sauté pan on medium 2–3 minutes. Cook sandwiches 3–4 minutes on each side or until golden and cheese is melted. Cut sandwiches in half.

Serving suggestions:
Toast and top with almond butter. Add sliced banana and drizzle with honey for breakfast on the go.

Spread bread with mayonnaise, then top with cooked bacon, lettuce, and tomato for a perfect BLT.
