Sautéed Green Beans with Herbs

1 lb green beans, stems removed
1 (14.5-oz) can reduced-sodium chicken broth (or water)
1 small shallot, minced
2 tablespoons herb garlic butter


  1. Place beans and broth in large sauté pan on medium-high; cook 4-5 minutes or until tender. Drain beans.
  2. Return pan to heat and add beans, shallot, and butter; cook and stir 1-2 minutes to melt butter and blend flavors. Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired.
