Cooking oil, for coating pan
1 large egg
1 Thomas’ English Muffin
1 slice Swiss cheese
2 slices turkey bacon


  1. Preheat oven broiler. Coat nonstick frying pan lightly with oil and preheat on medium. Beat egg in shallow bowl. Split English muffin, then dip each side in egg and cover both sides thoroughly. Place muffin halves in pan; cook 5–7 minutes, turning once, or until each side is golden. Transfer muffins to baking pan. Carefully wipe skillet out.
  2. Cook bacon in same pan until desired crispness. Meanwhile, top each muffin half with 1/2 slice cheese. Remove bacon when crisp and drain excess fat on paper towels.
  3. Broil muffins about 30 seconds or until cheese melts. Top one muffin half with bacon, then remaining half of muffin. Serve.
