Grilled Honey Lime Pineapple Skewers

1 pineapple
8 (12-inch) wooden skewers
3 tablespoons honey
2 limes, for juice
Cooking spray


  1. Preheat grill on high. Slice off the top green crown and about one-half inch of the bottom of the pineapple, if needed. Stand pineapple upright on cutting board; cut into quarters from top to bottom. Cut each quarter into 1/2-inch-thick slices (24 slices). Thread three pineapple slices onto each skewer.
  2. Squeeze limes for juice (2 tablespoons). Whisk lime juice and honey until blended. Brush mixture over pineapple, reserving about one-half of the glaze.
  3. Coat pineapple with spray. Place skewers on grill; grill 2–3 minutes on each side or until pineapple begins to brown. Brush with remaining glaze; serve.
