8 oz frozen whipped topping, thawed and divided
3 cups honeydew chunks (about 1 lb)
1 (14-oz) can sweetened condensed milk
2 limes, for zest/juice
1 (6-oz) graham cracker piecrust


  1. Set whipped topping out to thaw. Place honeydew in food processor bowl; process until smooth.
  2. Combine condensed milk, 1/2 teaspoon lime zest, 2 tablespoons lime juice, and honeydew; fold (gently stir) in one-half of the whipped topping. Transfer mixture to piecrust. Cover and freeze 3 hours (or overnight).
  3. Remove pie from freezer 10 minutes before serving; top with remaining whipped topping.

Other Preparation Methods

  • Grill: Preheat grill. Thread honeydew cubes (about 1 lb) onto 6 (12-inch) wooden skewers. Combine zest and juice of 2 limes with 3 tablespoons honey. Grill melon 1–2 minutes on each side; remove from grill. Brush with lime mixture.
  • Salsa: Combine 2 cups chopped honeydew, 1/2 cup chopped cucumber, 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper, and 1 tablespoon jalapeño hot sauce. Serve with grilled fish, chicken, or pork.
