Ingredients

Nonstick aluminum foil
8 slices precooked bacon
2 medium, ripe bananas
4 Bakery Brioche Hotdog Buns
1/2 cup creamy (or chunky) peanut butter
4 teaspoons honey, for drizzling
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with foil. Heat bacon following package instructions. Cut each banana in half lengthwise.
  2. Open buns and place on baking sheet. Spread 2 tablespoons peanut butter on each bun, then add 2 bacon slices, 1 banana half, and a drizzle of honey.
  3. Close sandwiches; brush tops with melted butter. Bake 6–8 minutes or until warm and tops are slightly crisp. Serve.

Other Preparation Methods

Combine cooked salad shrimp with mayo, celery, and lemon juice. Place shrimp salad in hot dog bun.
Fill steamed buns with hot dogs, pickle spears, relish, tomato slices, peppers, and celery salt for authentic Chicago-style hot dogs.
