Ingredients

Nonstick aluminum foil
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
8 slices bacon
24 frozen Italian-style fully cooked meatballs (about 14 oz)
Toothpicks

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheet with foil. Combine brown sugar and chili powder.
  2. Cut bacon slices into 3 equal pieces; wrap 1 bacon slice around each meatball and secure with toothpick. Repeat with remaining meatballs. Roll each meatball in sugar mixture until well coated, then arrange on baking sheet (wash hands). Discard remaining sugar mixture.
  3. Bake meatballs 25–30 minutes or until bacon is crisp and meatballs are 165°F. Let stand 5 minutes to cool. Serve.
