Cheese Board with Olive Tapenade

1 (16-oz) package cheddar cheese block
3 cloves fresh garlic
1 cup pitted Kalamata olives
2 tablespoons capers
3 tablespoons fresh parsley
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 seedless cucumber
1(12-oz) package carrot sticks
1 (7.5-oz) box social crackers
1/2 cup seedless raspberry preserves


  1. Place cheese on flat surface; cut each corner off at a 90° angle, then slice cheese for board. Arrange cheese on decorative board or platter.
  2. Place garlic, olives, capers, parsley, lemon juice, and oil in food processor bowl; blend until finely chopped. Spread tapenade around cheese on platter. Cut cucumber in fourths lengthwise, then cut each fourth into 4-inch long pieces. Garnish cheese board with cucumber slices, carrots, crackers, additional olives, and raspberry preserves. Serve.
Note: For a decorative touch, do not slice cheese, but instead carve RIP on top to look like a coffin.
