Ingredients

1 (14-oz) package mac and cheese dinner
1/2 cup white cheddar crackers
1 tablespoon fresh Italian parsley, finely chopped
4 beef hot dogs
4 slices bacon
Toothpicks
1/4 cup classic barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
4 hot dog buns

Steps

  1. Prepare mac and cheese following package instructions. Preheat grill (or grill pan). Crush crackers; chop parsley.
  2. Wrap each hot dog with one slice of bacon, securing with toothpicks (wash hands). Grill hot dogs 6–8 minutes turning often or until well browned and bacon is cooked. Brush hot dogs with barbecue sauce during last minute of cooking.
  3. Combine crackers, parsley, and Parmesan. Place hot dogs in buns; drizzle with remaining barbecue sauce. Top each hot dog with 1/3 cup mac and cheese and 2 tablespoons cracker topping. Serve with remaining mac and cheese on the side.
