4 oz sliced prosciutto (4 slices)
1 large Ambrosia (or Fuji) apple
4 tablespoons crumbled bleu cheese
8 fresh sage leaves
4 teaspoons chopped walnuts
2 teaspoons pepper


  1. Cut prosciutto slices in half lengthwise. Remove core from apple, then cut into 8 (1/4-inch-thick) slices.
  2. Top each apple slice with 1 slice prosciutto, 1/2 tablespoon blue cheese, 1/2 teaspoon walnuts, and 1 sage leaf; sprinkle pepper evenly over apple bites. Serve.
