Elisabeth Terlato, daughter of Terlato Wines CEO Bill Terlato, joined the family’s company in October 2018 as Associate Marketing Manager, responsible for marketing and managing Terlato Wines' Estate Division portfolio of brands including Terlato Friuli Pinot Grigio, M. Chapoutier, Mathilde Chapoutier, Domaine Terlato-Chapoutier and Anselmi.
Elisabeth follows her sister Jo and brother Tony as the fourth generation to be involved in the family business.
Elisabeth joined the company from Foote, Cone & Belding Global, where she progressed from an Assistant Account Executive to Account Executive managing clients such as Choose Chicago, Bioverativ and Janssen Pharmaceuticals (Johnson & Johnson). She quickly established a path of accomplishment with an Emmy nomination in Creative Arts for Choose Chicago’s brand campaign and increased pharmaceutical sales year on year. Additionally, she produced advertisements for high-profile brands such as Mazzoni and Adelphi Scotch whisky which were published in national beverage publications including Wine Spectator, Wine & Spirits and The Tasting Panel.
During her internships at the Il Poggione and GAJA wineries in the Tuscan and Piedmont regions of Italy, Terlato studied the retail and production sides of the wine industry. Prior to joining Foote, Cone & Belding Global, Terlato worked at Modern Luxury Publications in Marketing.
Elisabeth holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami (Florida) and is continuing her wine education and studying to obtain her Certified Specialist of Wine certification.
Elisabeth resides in Chicago and is an active associate board member of the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center, working to improve the lives of children in the City
