Todd started his career at the end of the bottling line at Duck-Rabbit Brewery, running a labeler, packing cases, and eventually elevated to his responsibilities to cellaring beer. It was here that Todd learned that making great beer takes hard work and to never cut corners, evident in Duck-Rabbits many GABF medals. This is where Todd’s desire to get on the Brew Stand became more apparent. “Duck-Rabbit taught him the seriousness is which to approach his craft, and the way to approach every work day as an opportunity to make beer better”.
In 2015 Todd joined the brew crew at Crooked Can Brewing Company at Head Cellarmen. In February of 2016 Todd attended the Brew theory program at the Siebel Institute of Technology in Chicago. In February 2017 Todd was promoted to Lead Brewer – taking on training of employees, recipe formulation and administrative duties. Through hard work, determination and endless passion for brewing great beer, Todd was promoted to Head Brewer in November of 2018. Todd now oversees the entire brewing operations at Crooked Can with his staff ensuring to produce the best quality beer batch after batch.
