After graduation in 1998 from Fresno State University and completing the UC Davis wine education program, James went on to work for The Wine Group. Throughout his years with the company, James has worked on brands that have provided wines for millions of consumers. Today, James is happy to embark on a project that is all his own.

Made by James is a wine collection that is truly reflective of his personal winemaking style and an expression of his 20 years of experience in the industry. Join James for an evening of his wonderful wines along with our Aprons chefs.


Welcome Aperitif - Slow Churn Chardonnay

  • Potatoes Duchesse, Sauteed Kale, Cannellini Beans and Roasted Garlic paired with Slow Churn Chardonnay
  • Agnolotti with Lamb, Plums, and Figs in a Lamb Brodo paired with Plummy Pinot Noir
  • Filet of Beef with Parsnip Puree, Blistered Potatoes and Arugula Pesto paired with Made by James Merlot
  • Black Cherry Pie with Cinnamon Ice Cream paired with Made By James Cabernet Sauvignon.
