Southern Seedless Watermelons

Seedless watermelon

When to Enjoy

Watermelon and summer go hand in hand. Southern seedless watermelons are at peak season from the end of May through June, and they’re on sale now! We work directly with farmers in Florida and South Carolina to ensure each melon meets our high standards, so you can enjoy summer at its sweetest. Serve any time of day—they’re perfect for lunches, snacks, and desserts. And be sure to try these great recipes.

  • Keep whole melons in the refrigerator no longer than one week. Once cut, refrigerate covered with plastic wrap or in an airtight container.
  • Wash the surface of your watermelon before cutting.
  • Need to figure out how much to buy? Count on 1 1/2 – 2 cups cubed melon per pound.
  • If you’re doing some creative carving, a room-temperature watermelon is easier to work with.
