Breakfast brings an opportunity to start the day on the right foot, with important nutrients that provide energy for the day's tasks. Having more energy could mean you're more likely to be physically active, whether it's taking the stairs at work, hitting the gym, or enjoying a walk or jog.
The Weight Game
Eating breakfast may help you maintain your weight, according to a study by the National Weight Control Registry (NWCR). The NWCR tracks more than 10,000 individuals who have lost significant amounts of weight and kept it off for long periods of time. Among these success stories, about
78 percent include breakfast as a daily routine.
